The extra appointments I had to assuage my fears got me through it and the doctor's willingness to hand out his cell number helped me through a very difficult day after surgery. Also, the little things, like free parking, Jane Iredale cosmetics and a box of Sees Candies - no nickel and diming the customer. It is all very refreshing and serves to make one feel cared for.
